Elvish Wizard with amnesia, eventually discovers he is an ancient and evil wizard responsible for recent troubles.

Ask the Wizard (PC) started out by waking under an arena near a mostly human port. He had no recollection of where he was, who he was, and what was happening thanks to a stubborn bout of amnesia. He determined he was enslaved as a combanant of the arena and must fight his way to freedom. He met another within his cell who was to be his battle partner. A human fighter by the name Higgins (NPC). Seeing as neither had the skills of trickery or stealth, they decided they must fight their way out. After several battles, a final battle was proposed by the owner of the arena. Another hand was to assist Ask and Higgins, a Druid by the name of Maladeen. The final battle was against a young cyclops which proved to be quite a match for the three combatants. Afterwords they free to go to the human port, where they signed up for the military to get cash fast. Realizing a quick opportunity to gain even more cash, they ditched their posts to join an artifact hunting group. They met with the ship’s navigator and first mate, Wixucon (NPC). Wixucon was a skilled navigator who had hunted treasures before with their captain, Gillim (NPC). The ship’s crew consisted of human mercenaries and an all kobold crew (including Wixucon and Gillim). A small group of additional mercenaries join with them before the depature. The mercenaries get upset with the captain due to their pay being smaller than promised. All but one of them storm off the ship. Ajax the Solemn (PC), who needed the cash, decided to stay on for adventure, glory, and treasure. The artifact hunter group called the Nomadic Seekers sets off. The artifacts to be found are to be given to the king, Lord Dagge III. He funded their mission and promises great cash and prestige if they find these artifacts. Ajax remembers that these artifacts are remenants of the old king’s armor and weapons. The king died 100 years ago after an epic battle between the human suriviors and the evil lich army lead by Shadowbolt (see below).
